George Bush’s book sold 432K in its first week on-sale according to Nielsen BookScan ( his publisher Crown announced that the book sold 775K overall including about 100K eBooks, large print, audio, and accounts that don’t report to BookScan). It was outsold by the latest book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, both in the BookScan universe  (542K) and the overall publisher estimate department  (825K).

His wife Laura’s book has sold 382K since going on sale in May and Bill Clinton’s book My Life sold 597K in its first week on-sale in 2004.
