Weekly Plagiarism charge:

Slate France has accusé controversial novelist and Lovecraft biographer, Michel Houellebecq, of lifting portions of his new novel The Map and the Territory straight from Wikipedia. Houellebecq, says it’s a literary device and evokes the names of Borges and Perec in his defence.

Oh yeah, the new novel is a satire of the Paris art scene and features a sloppy drunk writer named Michel Houellebecq.
